Memorial Day is just around the corner (literally, it’s in five days), which means that most everyone is gearing up for a weekend full of backyard barbecues, pool openings, and general outdoorsy time. I, too, plan to soak up the (almost) summer sun this weekend with a burger and cool drink in hand, so to optimize my time outside, I planned my barbecue-attending outfit in advance. Continue Reading
I’m excited to share my inaugural post in a new series dedicated to my pursuit of trying the latest trends. We all know that the most ‘trendy’ pieces aren’t always the most practical for our lifestyles or compatible with our body types. So, I’ll be picking one current trend each month and attempting to recreate it in an everyday, average Jane fashion. Spring in DC is in full swing, which means only one thing – my allergies are raging to the point that I should probably buy stock in the allergy pill industry. Any sort of allergy flare up, whether it is in the form of red itchy eyes, puffy skin, runny nose, or a pimple outbreak (yes, allergies can trigger a breakout), makes getting ready for the day that much harder. To help guide your style through an allergy-ridden day, I’ve compiled five tips Continue Reading
